Dealer Sales Representative

Berlin's Restaurant Supply is a trusted partner in Foodservice Equipment & Solutions. We lead the industry in supporting customers across the design/build process through our highly trained field staff and a consultative approach. As a company in expansion, we seek to offer high growth opportunities as we see great success. The Dealer Sales Representative position is field-based role focused on generating new business opportunities and expanding customer accounts in new territories. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and executing a strategic prospecting strategy to promote our business, cultivate strong relationships and execute the full cycle sales process. This position is based in the Wilmington market.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities in the region.
  • Promote and sell food service equipment within the assigned geographical territory.
  • Maintain a comprehensive sales database to track customer information and sales activities.
  • Attend sales meetings as outlined by the Sales Manager.
  • Evaluate competition, report findings, and provide insights on pricing and programs.
  • Utilize software tools such as Auto Quotes, NetSuite, and Sales Force for sales operations.
  • Address product quality issues and field-related problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with local manufacturer representatives to enhance customer relations and negotiate equipment prices to optimize deals.
  • Foster and maintain positive customer service relationships with other departments, branches, vendors, and customers through professional resolution of service issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience in the food service equipment industry or sales is preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or Culinary Degree preferred
  • 2 years business-business sales experience
  • 2 years industry related experience
  • 5 years sales experience in foodservice/hospitality management and/or foodservice sales

The pay range for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Expected base compensation for this position is $65,000 with annual on-target earnings at $100,000. Additionally, we offer a monthly stipend for travel related expenses and home office expenses in addition to our Company Benefits.
