The Role: We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive sales of medical capital equipment to HSE Procurement in the West of Ireland region. In this role, you'll work closely with hospitals and healthcare facilities, particularly in navigating the HSE procurement process. Your focus will be on expanding current accounts and identifying new business opportunities within the HSE network. You'll manage the sales cycle from initial engagement through to tender submission, drawing on an internal team to support the tendering process so you can focus on building strong client relationships and driving revenue. A strategic, consultative approach is essential, as is the ability to handle complex sales cycles for high-value products. The Ideal Candidate: To excel in this role, candidates must have experience working directly with HSE Procurement and a minimum of 2 years in a medical or healthcare sales role. Familiarity with selling medical capital equipment or similar products is a distinct advantage. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, a tenacious approach to sales, and a deep understanding of the healthcare procurement landscape. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, and experience in long-cycle sales are essential.
