Bord Gis Energy are currently recruiting seeking a Heating Engineer to join our team.
We will upskill you to be able to carry out heat pump and gas appliance installation, servicing and repairs work, and providing our customers with an excellent in-home customer experience.
You'll also receive training in smart technologies, heat pumps, gas, oil, and other renewables on an ongoing basis.

About the Role Installation of central heating boilers, including system and control upgrades Installation of and maintenance of heat pumps to retrofit properties Installation of and maintenance of oil boilers Service, repair, and safety inspection of all domestic heating appliances Service and repair of domestic central heating and hot water plumbing systems First time diagnosis and repair of heating appliances and system faults Upgrade and installation of central heating system controls with smart technologies Carry out a range of electrical safety tests on domestic heating installations Correctly locate, install, and verify CO alarms to current gas standards Carry out a range of testing with Combustion Gas Analysers including room safety Responsibility for all aspects of central heating installation and customer safety Generate, organise, and maintain company and regulatory documentation Participation in the Bord Gis Energy wellbeing, diversity, inclusion, safety, and quality systems About You You'll have a National craft certificate in plumbing You're driven individual with excellent planning and organisational skills Aptitude for fault finding logic would be an advantage Full clean Irish driving license Strong interpersonal and customer skills, with the ability to work with the general public and within a wider team with specific targets A positive, safe attitude and approach to all work and training activities RGII registration an advantage Why should you apply?
