We are currently seeking 3 people to fill part-time evening Resident Care Attendant positions. ** Completed AP/RPA training or DEP in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home **
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule A: One 6/14 evening position, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Schedule B: One 6/14 evening position, 3:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Schedule C: One 5/14 position, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
- Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
- PDSP training
- AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home
- Law 90
