Job Description
Ability to quickly build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, dealers in assigned territory.
Promote and represent the company’s standard and customized product range.
Generate new business inquiries from existing and new prospective customers or leads generated through exhibitions or marketing campaigns.
Rigorous follow‑up regularly on submitted quotations and convert them into business orders.
Handle complete pre‑sales and post‑sales activities including dispatch coordination with the internal sales support team and payment follow‑up with customers/dealers.
Handle customer queries related to technical issues, delivery status, and commercial matters efficiently, duly consulting with the reporting authority.
Coordinate with internal sales support teams to obtain required sales statistic inputs, pricing policies, and technical query resolution.
Achieve sales targets through effective planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring under the reporting authority.
Track market trends, upcoming projects, competitors, and pricing activities & report information to the reporting authority and sales support team.
Visit exhibitions in the territory and develop/generate new leads and inquiries.
Maintain CRM & ERP updates and prepare MIS reports; minutes of meetings in the weekly report.
Qualifications
3—7 years experience in technical sales.
Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (preferred).
Experience in B2B sales of industrial products, preferably in bulk powder handling, conveyors, turnkey solutions industries, pneumatic conveying, or industrial pollution control systems.
Strong technical knowledge and sales skills.
Excellent communication skills in English and strong command of the local language.
Knowledge of CRM/ERP software.
Ability to provide solution‑based selling to customers, with a consulting approach that helps build the relationship.
Proficient in MS Office suite.
