Senior Systems Administrator We are seeking an
Senior Systems Administrator .
Required Qualifications
Seven (7) years of progressive experience in Information Processing, including six years specialized in multiple disciplines, and four years hands‑on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
Certifications:
IAT Level II
One or more of: M2008 NET, MCITP SA, MCITP EA, CSA:WS2012, MCSE:WS2012, MCSA:WS2008, MCSM:DS, M2012 NET, MCM: Windows Server 2008 Directory, MCA: MS Windows Server Directory, CCAA, GCWN M.
One or more of: System Administration (Oracle DB) with SAP NetWeaver 7.5, SAPCTA – System Administration (SAP HANA as a Database) with SAP NetWeaver 7.5, SAP CAA – SAP Business Objects BI Platform 4.2, SAPCTA – SAP System Administration with SAP NetWeaver 7.5 (Delta), SAPHA200, SAP BOE320.
Top Secret IT I clearance.
Responsibilities
Provides all activities related to the administration of database schemas and their objects.
Projects long‑range requirements for database schema administration and design in conjunction with Infrastructure DBAs.
Designs, creates, and maintains database schemas in a client/server environment.
Conducts quality control and auditing of database schemas to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data and permissions.
Advises users on access to various client/server databases.
Designs, implements, and maintains complex database schema objects with respect to user requirements, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection, security, documentation, and statistical methods; applies knowledge of database technologies, development methodologies, and front‑end programming languages (e.g., SQL).
Performs database programming and supports systems design.
Work Environment
Location: Remote with periodic support at Fort Belvoir or other places in the National Capital Region.
Type of environment: Remote.
Noise level: Low.
Work schedule: Day shift Monday – Friday; may be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
Amount of travel: less than 10%.

Physical Demands Physical demands include hand use, reaching, talking, hearing, standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
