Coordinator, Digital Research & Analytics
The ESPN Research & Analytics team utilizes all facets of media research and first party internal data (Nielsen, comScore, Adobe Analytics, etc.) to inform ESPN as well as the larger Walt Disney Company on how sports and related content and products are performing and how the ESPN business can drive even greater consumption in the future. The ESPN Research team is part of the larger ESPN Finance, Strategy and Research Group, a group of world-class professionals managing and analyzing all aspects of ESPN businesses and providing tactical insights that drive our businesses forward. 0–1 years of experience or relevant internship experience in media, analytics, research, business intelligence, or a related field Ability to produce original ideas when analyzing problems Familiarity with spreadsheets and basic data organization techniques Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes Clear written and verbal communication skills Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and comfort working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment Preferred Requirements:
Exposure to digital analytics or measurement tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Nielsen, or similar) Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) at a basic level Interest in sports, digital media, streaming products, or audience research Coursework or introductory experience with statistics, SQL, Python or data analysis concepts Basic Education
