Day to day as a Business Intelligence Developer-Analyst As a Business Intelligence Developer-Analyst at SkyOne Federal Credit Union, you will play a critical role in shaping our data-driven decision-making processes. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that align with our commitment to performance and innovation. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will translate their needs into technical specifications, ensuring the creation of optimized BI and Enterprise Data Warehouse reports and dashboards. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the integrity and security of our data analytics platforms. We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, who is passionate about harnessing data and artificial intelligence to enhance business performance and deliver exceptional value to our members. What you need to be successful To thrive as a Business Intelligence Developer-Analyst at SkyOne Federal Credit Union, a blend of technical and analytical skills is essential. Proficiency in SQL Server and experience with BI tools such as reporting tools, dashboards, and data visualization software is crucial. The ability to collaborate effectively with business users and cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements will help translate those needs into impactful BI and AI-powered solutions. Familiarity with AI/ML models is important, as you will integrate them into BI assets to enhance analytics capabilities. Skills in querying, reporting, and implementing generative AI tools for interactive data exploration will position you for success. Additionally, knowledge of cloud AI/ML deployment, along with unit testing and quality assurance practices on BI models, will be necessary. Candidates must also ensure compliance with federal regulations, uphold responsible AI principles, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role. Experience in data warehouse design, ETL processes, and data modeling (e.g., star, snowflake schemas). Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, MicroStrategy, or similar). Hands on development and support experience with the Jack Henry Advanced Reporting for Credit Unions (ARCU) Data Warehouse product a plus. Strong knowledge of SQL, database management systems, and reporting services (e.g., SSRS, SSIS). Experience with data integration, data mining, and OLAP technologies. Experience with AI agents or autonomous analytics tools and AI-ready data preparation. Practical knowledge of cloud AI/ML platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). Understanding of AI ethics, data bias mitigation, explainability, and AI governance practices. Effective troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work autonomously, as a team member, and in a cross-functional capacity. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous work experience at banks, credit unions, or other financial service institutions preferred. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement.
