Our client is rolling out an employed solution in the US and requires a specialist to manage the daily operations and optimize their processes as they scale. The initial workflows have been defined, but need an experienced operator to execute them efficiently and refine them over time.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the W2 workforce, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and reliability in everything from onboarding to offboarding. This role is critical to establishing a stable and scalable US footprint.
Responsibilities
Operationalize the US Function:
Take the existing process maps and turn them into a functioning reality, managing the end-to-end lifecycle for W2 contractors from onboarding to offboarding.
Refine & Polish Processes:
Analyze the current operating procedures, identify inefficiencies, and iterate on them to create a scalable playbook.
Master the Administration:
Ensure 100% accuracy in payroll data entry, documentation, and compliance filings.
Serve as the US Subject Matter Expert:
Partner closely with Compliance, Delivery, and Account Management teams to provide HR expertise.
Manage Sensitive Employee Relations:
Handle complex employee‑relations issues, focusing on terminations, offboarding, and performance exits.
Navigate Multi‑State Complexity:
Align daily operations with employment law across different states.
Execute Benefits Administration:
Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits related to W2 workers.
Drive Product Evolution:
Provide feedback on the platform to improve features.
Deep US Payroll & Admin Fluency:
Extensive experience managing W2 workers in a contingent or staffing agency environment.
Process Optimization Mindset:
Find ways to increase efficiency within existing processes.
Operational Grit:
Own logistics without an admin support team; ensure data quality and compliance.
Heavy Employee Relations Experience:
Experience managing terminations and involuntary exits.
Process Architect:
Document processes and refine playbooks.
East Coast Alignment:
Ideally based in an East Coast time zone for collaboration with UK leadership.
Product‑Minded Intuition:
Analyze software workflows and provide actionable suggestions.
