This role is focused on driving the digital presence and brand engagement for a new premium sportswear line entering the Australian market. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and executing a content strategy that highlights the brand’s bold colors, engineered fits, and technical features, setting it apart from traditional neutral‑toned activewear. The ideal professional will have a keen eye for visual storytelling, a deep understanding of social media trends, and the ability to connect with an audience that values both style and performance. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s identity and building a loyal community ahead of and following the product launch.
Deliverables
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media content calendar tailored to the Australian activewear market.
Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, emphasizing the brand’s unique visual identity.
Collaborate with photographers, designers, and influencers to produce high‑quality visual and written content.
Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach.
Engage with the online community, responding to comments and messages to foster brand loyalty.
Support the planning and execution of digital campaigns for product launches and ongoing promotions.
Requirements
Proven experience managing social media and content creation for fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative content and successful social media campaigns.
Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
Excellent written and visual communication skills, with a flair for storytelling and brand building.
Understanding of the Australian market and trends in activewear and digital engagement.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving brand needs.
Availability for ongoing collaboration, with flexibility for remote work.
