Offshore Systems, responsible for driving profitable growth across marine HVAC and refrigeration solutions. You will work directly with customers, dealers, and internal Carrier teams to understand technical requirements, recommend the right equipment and system solutions, and deliver value throughout the full sales cycle. You will be in charge of building and maintaining long?term customer relationships, expanding business within existing accounts, and identifying new opportunities across both traditional and emerging marine segments. From developing proposals and contracts to supporting order execution and post?sale activities, you will play an active role in positioning Carrier as a trusted, high?value solution provider in a fast?paced, relationship?driven environment./ph3Role Responsibilities/h3ulliAchieve annual sales, gross margin and market share targets for Marine finished goods/equipment/system sales./liliHelp to grow business through existing and new accounts by building solid long-term relationships, promoting Carriers products, attending trade shows and marketing events, etc./liliReview customer specifications and recommend solutions; develop and execute sales proposals and contracts./liliAssist with developing and influencing growth strategies to target business via non-traditional channels; aggressively pursue new market segments to expand direct business./liliDevelop internal expertise to position Carrier as premier solution provider; provide product and system expertise within key vertical markets./liliDevelop long term relationships and build partnerships with the customer; provide customers with superior value and service./liliWork with internal Carrier departments for product, control, and system solutions./liliManage the relationship with Marine Dealer channel; develop and influence channel growth strategies/liliExecute quotes, follow-up and close work with customers, handle post-sale submittal and order entry work, assist with project management duties, accounts receivable responsibilities./li/ulh3Basic Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree with 5+ years experience in the HVAC industry, or Associate degree / College Degree / Technical diploma with 7+ years experience in the HVAC industry./li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)/h3pOther qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:/pulliHVAC industry experience in professional sales or marketing positions of increasing responsibility./liliSolid HVAC experience and knowledge of HVAC systems and design./liliAbility to work with little direction or guidance from others/liliSense of urgency, self-initiative, commitment and sense of ownership/liliStrong follow-up and follow-through skills/liliTeam-oriented, ability to create strong internal relationships, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment/liliExcellent verbal, written and presentation skills/liliHighly organized with strong attention to detail/liliAbility to manage multiple priorities/liliExcellent problem solving and advanced analytical skills/liliProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and QuoteBuilder, and SAP/HVAC Partners./li/ulh3Additional Information/h3ulliImmigration sponsorship is not supported for this position./li/ulh3Pay Range/h3pThe annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually.
