Their responsibilities are, but not limited to, the daily operations of the used firearms business./ppThis includes three phases of business: buying, selling, and firearms customer service./ppThis position initiates all 4473 forms with customers and is responsible for conducting the final check of applicable company, state, and federal forms prior to a firearm being transferred to the customer./ppThe Team Lead focuses on creating a fair-trade environment focusing on a customer-satisfaction selling culture. Thus, reaching monthly sales goals in order to achieve maximum profit through buying, selling, and trading pre-owned firearms./ppESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:/pulliEvaluates and appraises used firearms exhibiting knowledge of fair market values, professional negotiation skills, research, and a high degree of firearms identification knowledge. The Team Leader is in control of used firearm inventory and must obtain the highest % margin based on negotiated acquisition./liliInitiates all 4473 forms with customers and is responsible for conducting the final check of applicable company, state, and federal forms prior to a firearm being transferred to the customer./liliMaintains inventory through daily buying and cultivating leads for potential buying of gun collections outside of the store, along with awareness of local auctions, estate sales, and any other avenue of supply./liliComplies with all Local, State, and Federal firearms regulations as an employee of an ATF FFL licensed dealer./liliConducts monthly ATF compliance audits and company required audits./liliMerchandises used firearms and is proactive in the arrangement of merchandise./liliPartners with Internet Specialist recommending to post those firearms that will achieve the highest potential margin and sell quickly./liliInteracts and communicates with Regional Gun Library Managers and the corporate used firearm merchandising team./liliTrain and educate Outfitters on acquiring and disposing of used firearms, current sales trends, policy and procedure updates and changes, negotiation skills, providing resources to properly identify used firearm values, and other educational aspects of the used firearm business. 5%/liliParticipate in ongoing training including, but not limited to firearms and shooting product information, diverse shooting discipline awareness, systems training, compliance related training, and selling skills / techniques./liliProvide highest quality customer service on the sales floor and assisting with customer phone calls, when developing relationships with customers in answering questions about their firearm, quoting a price for their firearm or a retail price of firearms and when responding and handling customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope./liliALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED./li/ulpEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:/pulliMinimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent experience/liliExperience: 2-4 years experience/li/ulpKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:/pulliMust be 21 years of age/liliSafely handle firearms/liliKnowledge of purchasing firearms by either working in the firearms industry or collecting firearms/liliGood understanding of retail and a knowledge of computers/liliBackground in current firearms models/liliAble to appraise and know the marketable value of used firearms/liliMust have a great work ethic and ability to multi task/li/ulpTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:/pulliLocal travel to purchase used firearms out of store/li/ulpPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :/pulliConstantly stand and/or walk during shift/liliConstantly communicate with others to exchange information/liliConstantly repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers/liliConstantly assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned/liliLight work that includes constantly lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds, occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more (utilizing a team lift as needed)/liliOccasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, step stools, etc./liliOccasionally operate machinery and/or power tools/liliOccasionally work in noisy environments/li/ulpINDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :/pulliPerforms tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments.
