- Assist residents with the self-administration of prescribed medications under nurse supervision, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
- Monitor residents for medication responses, take vital signs as directed, and report changes or concerns promptly to the Charge Nurse
- Support residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, ambulation, hydration, meals, and safe transfers while promoting independence
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and uphold resident rights, confidentiality, infection control, and safety standards, reporting incidents or suspected abuse immediately
- High School Diploma or GED or one to three months related experience and/or training (required)
- Active Florida Medication Technician Certification (required)
- Active CPR Certification (preferred, can train on-site)
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, visitors, and other team members
- Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test
