What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead and manage carbon projects in the Natural Climate Solutions Accelerator (NCSA) portfolio during the Project Design phase
Apply project management methodologies to ensure successful delivery of project milestones and objectives
Coordinate administrative and contracting processes across project design, investment readiness, and implementation sub-teams
Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and communicate status updates to stakeholders
Support the development of the Business Incubator approach, curriculum, and tools for ongoing program improvement
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 2 years of project management experience or 1 year as a project lead on a complex, multi-stakeholder project
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information effectively
Experience managing scheduling and financial aspects of projects ranging from short to long term
Familiarity with business model development or investment readiness frameworks, ideally in a carbon finance context
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Multi-lingual skills and cross-cultural experience, preferably in Spanish or Swahili
Experience working on global projects or in emerging markets
Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) and familiarity with project management tools
Background in program or curriculum development, business incubation, or entrepreneurship support
Experience in carbon markets, climate finance, or natural climate solutions
