POSITION The Southeast Region Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) will conduct evidence‑based patient care and assess and sign breast pump prescriptions for SimpliFed patients.
ROLE Provide direct clinical services via telehealth, ensuring compliance with SimpliFed’s maternal health program requirements and federal regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
Master’s or Doctoral degree in the clinical field (Nurse Practitioner)
Professional licensure in the clinical field (Nurse Practitioner) in good standing with the governing board
Active medical licensure in the following U.S. states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington D.C., West Virginia
Active MMIS (State Medicaid) credentials in all states, preferred
Professional certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) or Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), in good standing, preferred
At least 3 years of direct clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or other healthcare setting
Interest in maternal health and improving outcomes
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions aligned with SimpliFed’s policies
Strong listening skills, sound judgment, and effective communication
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, and strong charting skills
Knowledge of clinical workflows, healthcare quality and compliance standards, EHR data management, clinical documentation, HIPAA, and related regulations
POSITION SPECIFICS
Communicate with patients using SimpliFed’s electronic medical record system and virtual video platform
Focus on clinical relevance and empower patient health literacy and evidence‑based decision making
Review patient intake forms and complete breast pump prescriptions

Excellent interpersonal skills when working with leadership, employees, external medical professionals, and patients
Work within the scope of practice and comply with clinical protocols, licensure, and credentialing requirements
Meet availability requirements as specified by SimpliFed
Operate with minimal supervision and maintain clear communication of current work activities with supervisors
Promote professionalism and teamwork in improving maternal health outcomes
Successfully complete a background check
Maintain compliance with SimpliFed’s policies and federal security and privacy regulations
WORK ENVIRONMENT The role is performed virtually, requiring proficiency with remote communication tools.
TIME COMMITMENT Up to 10–20 hours per week.
COMPENSATION Market competitive rate: $50 per hour.
