This Healthcare Assistant role focuses on person-centred care, independence and supporting individuals within a safe, structured and supportive healthcare environment. You will support service users in daily life while helping promote dignity, confidence, wellbeing and community participation within a team-focused setting. Whether you already work in healthcare support or are looking to build long-term experience within disability services, this role offers genuine stability, support and progression opportunities. Important: Due to the location of the service, access by public transport is not available. Access to a car and the ability to travel independently are essential for this role. What Youll Do Support personal care and daily living routines Encourage independence and community participation Build trusted and respectful relationships with service users Support individuals in line with person-centred care plans Promote dignity, inclusion and wellbeing Work within a supportive multidisciplinary team What Youll Need QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (or equivalent) OR QQI Level 6 Social Care / Nursing qualification Experience within healthcare, disability or residential care settings Full Manual Driving Licence or willingness to work towards it Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work across a rostered 24/7 service Good standard of spoken and written English Candidates with relevant experience who are willing to complete QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support within 18 months may also be considered.
