If youre ready to advance your career in retail management, wed love to hear from you!/ph3Opportunity/h3pThe Deli Manager is responsible for effective overall operation of the Deli Department to achieve sales and profit goals established for the department./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliGreet customers within 10 feet and respond to questions promptly./liliProvide accurate product information and recommendations./liliCreate weekly schedules to ensure department coverage./liliTrain staff on store procedures and operational standards./liliManage inventory for freshness, quality, and proper stock levels while minimizing waste./liliVerify deliveries against invoices for accuracy and condition, submit required reports and maintain accurate records./liliEnsure correct pricing based on margin guidelines and department goals./liliRecord price changes, in-store usage, voids, refunds, and spoilage per policy./liliDevelop merchandising plans with the Store Manager and set department goals./liliStock and rotate products following approved procedures for quality and compliance./liliMonitor product temperatures and adhere to health codes./liliMaintain clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing displays./liliCommunicate effectively with management, associates, and customers./liliHandle damaged or spoiled goods according to company policy./liliMonitor the area for hazards and maintain a safe environment./liliAdhere to scheduled hours and store rules./liliPerform additional duties as assigned./li/ulh3Requirements/h3pExceptional customer service skills. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Previous deli experience is preferred. SERV Safe Certification is preferred. Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs especially during times of high volume and/or stress. Must be able to read and do simple math problems.
