Job description The locally recruited teachers are hired under the employee status to teach in the secondary cycle.
Profile
  • Native speaker or thorough knowledge of the teaching language Czech (C2 certified)
  • Proficient in at least one of the school’s vehicular languages (FR, EN, DE)
  • Knowledge of another language of the school is an advantage (ES, NL, EL)
  • University degree (validated by the national authorities) permitting to teach in the secondary school (until the Baccalaureate)
  • Recent professional experience for at least 2 years in the secondary cycle (until the Baccalaureate)
  • European citizen or person having a valid working permit in Belgium
  • Ability to teach mixed classes using effective differentiation
  • Strong motivation in teaching in a multicultural and multilingual environment
  • Ability to work and to cooperate with colleagues, management and families
Offer We are offering contracts in accordance with the Service regulations for the locally recruited teachers in the European schools (Ref.: -D-11-en-19) available on the EE website:
  • Starting day: Schedule: 10 periods per week
  • Availability: Candidates must be available for the whole school year until )
  • Gross salary: The gross salary is €77,401.80 per year for full-time (21 periods per week) in secondary education.
  • Please refer to Annex 1 of document -D-11-fr-19 for exact pay scales per period.
  • Location: Brussels, Belgium.
