* The Swim Team Assistant Coach assists in the development of daily practice sessions including dry-land training, stretching, and swim training for all skill levels.
* Available to Gator Swim Team members and parents to answer questions concerning the program.
* At least 18 years old
* 2 years of directly related experience
* American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification - Training available at the YMCA
* Within 1 month of hire:
* Foundations of Coaching 101
* Concussion Education Certificate
* Athlete Protection Training
* Safety Training for Swim Coaches Certification
* Within 6 months of hire:
* lifeguarding certificiation

* Part-time employees begin accruing Sick Leave immediately upon hire and Paid Time Off (PTO) after one year of employment
* 12% Retirement Plan - The YMCA will automatically contribute an additional 12% of the eligible employee's monthly income into their YMCA Retirement Plan when the following requirements are met:
* The employee has been employed with the YMCA for 2 years
* The employee has worked 1,000 hours during each of any two 12-month periods
