Main Duties: Resource / allocate loads on a daily basis achieving best possible margin. Ensure deliveries are scheduled on time and in line with customer expectations. Proactively look for other work through various trading platforms in use at the buisness. Engage with new and existing customers to drive repeat business. Maintain regular contact with Company haulier base to ensure continuous supply. Monitor delivery performance and notify customers with any delays. Work to set targets in line with operational KPIs. Ensure all information is accurate and up to date within TMS (Mandata) Duty on call on a rota basis. Skills / Experience: Be fully PC literate with knowledge of common Microsoft systems and aptitude to quickly learn other transport management systems. Extensive experience in negotiating transport rates with subcontractors Be fully conversant with the legislation around drivers hours, vehicles and Working Time directive.
