We are actively seeking a Data Engineer for a 9‑month contract position for our client in the Lake Forest, CA area. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work two days per week. Our client is looking for a proactive problem‑solver to maintain, support, and enhance their existing production systems. The ideal candidate needs to be skilled with SQL Server, T‑SQL, SSRS and SSIS and should be passionate about data, possess excellent troubleshooting / debugging skills, manage multiple tasks effectively, and communicate clearly with business users and stakeholders.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 9+ months
Location: hybrid in Lake Forest, CA; 2-3 days a week
Compensation: Starts at $60/hour (W2 only, no C2C). Rate may vary based on experience and skillset
Responsibilities
Design and develop T‑SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports and SSIS ETL processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve database‑related issues in production environments.
Required Technical Skills
Proficiency in T‑SQL programming.
Strong experience with SSIS and SSRS.
Excellent problem‑solving skills.
Previous experience with Visual Basic is preferred.
