This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can work independently, and is comfortable operating across both modern data stacks and more operational or business-focused tooling.
Responsibilities
Design and build data ingestion pipelines from a variety of sources such as APIs, SaaS tools, and flat files
Clean, transform, and structure data for downstream use including reporting, analytics, and operational systems
Support end-to-end delivery from raw data through to usable outputs such as dashboards, exports, and integrations
Work across a mix of tools including cloud platforms, low-code tools, and business systems
Collaborate directly with a technical lead to deliver scoped pieces of work quickly and reliably
What We’re Looking For
Data ingestion including API integration, pagination, and authentication
Data transformation and modelling
Comfortable working in at least one cloud environment such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
Solid Python skills or equivalent for data processing and integration work
Experience working with SaaS platforms and operational systems, not just pure data platforms
You do not need all of these, but experience in similar areas is important:
Working with tools like JotForm, Airtable, SharePoint, or similar
Data migration projects, for example into accounting systems like QuickBooks
Using automation or orchestration tools such as Power Automate or Cloud Functions
Moving data between business systems via APIs
Ways of Working
Able to pick up loosely defined problems and deliver outcomes
Comfortable working independently
Pragmatic and focused on getting things working rather than over-engineering
Good communication skills with the ability to explain what has been built and any limitations
Not a Good Fit If
You prefer highly structured environments with rigid specifications
You focus purely on large-scale platform engineering over delivery
You are not comfortable working across a mix of tools and technologies
