Position Overview

We are seeking a Retail Warehouse & E-Commerce Operations Associate  to support day-to-day operations across our warehouse and retail environment. This role focuses on processing returns, fulfilling online orders, restocking retail inventory, and receiving inbound shipments , ensuring accuracy, organization, and a high standard of product handling.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment involving both physical tasks and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Order Fulfillment

• Pick, pack, and ship online customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare packaging to ensure safe delivery of fragile pottery items
• Print shipping labels and manage outbound logistics
• Maintain organized fulfillment workflow and packing stations

Returns Processing (Primary Focus)

• Inspect returned items from e-commerce orders for condition and resale eligibility
• Restock sellable items into inventory or route damaged goods appropriately
• Process return records and ensure accurate inventory adjustments
• Identify patterns in returns (damage, defects, shipping issues) and report findings

Retail Inventory & Restocking

• Restock retail shelves with pottery and related products
• Ensure products are displayed cleanly, safely, and in alignment with store standards
• Monitor stock levels and communicate low inventory needs
• Assist with in-store organization and visual presentation

Inbound Shipment Receiving

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments from vendors and suppliers
• Verify quantities and product condition against purchase orders
• Unload, organize, and stock inventory efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and storage organization

General Operations

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and retail backroom
• Use tools such as barcode scanners, label printers, and inventory systems (training provided)
• Collaborate with team members across retail and operations
• Follow safety procedures when handling fragile, heavy, or bulk items
• Perform other operational tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable lifting 40–50 lbs  and being on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to handle fragile items (ceramic/pottery) with care
• Basic familiarity with warehouse or retail operations preferred (not required)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

• Experience with e-commerce fulfillment (Shopify, Amazon, etc.)
• Inventory management or warehouse systems experience
• Prior experience handling returns or quality control

Work Environment

• Combination of warehouse, backroom, and retail floor
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Indoor work with occasional loading/unloading tasks
