*Summary*
We are seeking an Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Gernatt Asphalt Products Inc. This role is vital in ensuring the maintenance and repair of our fleet vehicles, contributing to the efficiency of our operations. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment.
* Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
* Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for repairs.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
* Collaborate with other mechanics to troubleshoot complex issues.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a heavy duty mechanic or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
* Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 60 per week
