Position Title: General Duties (Warehouse)

Location: Richmond, B.C

Starting Minimum: $19.86/hour

Job Type: Full Time Permanent 

Position Summary:

The Industrial Cleaner (General Warehouse Duties) will be primarily responsible for cleaning working and production areas. The Cleaner will also assist in setting up the production room.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning warehouse areas to meet regulation standards.
• Cleaning duties include, but are not limited to, wiping, sweeping, mopping, dusting.
• Completing Janitorial logs to ensure cleaning procedures are followed accurately.
• Collecting garbage and/or waste.
• Assist in setting up the production room.
• Assist in moving and cleaning delivery vehicles as required.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Janitorial and/or cleaning experience.
• Class 5 Drivers License is Required.
• Valid forklift license would be considered an asset.
• Valid scissor lift license would be considered an asset. 
• Willingness to work in a cold environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
• Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
• Previous work experience is an asset but not required.
• Training will be provided.
• Commitment to safety standards and practices.
