As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be part of a dynamic team that safeguards the nation's borders and protects its people. This exciting role offers opportunities to work with highly trained professionals who share a sense of camaraderie, pride, and purpose.

The primary duties include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations. You will also be responsible for preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions.

This position requires the ability to speak and read Spanish as well as English. Agents are provided training to become proficient in the Spanish language during their intensive instruction at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy.
