As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing products for shipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Utilize handheld scanners and order sheets to identify and locate items.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily fulfillment goals.
- Operate pallet jacks or other lifting devices as required.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance picking efficiency and safety awareness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in order picking or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and product labels accurately.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive work attitude.
- Understanding and compliance with safety regulations and PPE requirements.
