Border Patrol Agents are highly trained law enforcement professionals responsible for safeguarding the nation's borders and protecting American citizens.
Duties may include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing undocumented noncitizens from crossing into the US, apprehending smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders, interpreting tracks and marks left behind by illegal entry, performing farm checks, building checks, traffic stops,
