About the Role
As a Site Inventory Attendant at Z-Modular , a division of Zekelman Industries , in Midland, TX, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all inventory and materials required at active construction jobsites. This role supports modular installation, finishing, and amenity construction by ensuring the right equipment, materials, and supplies are available when needed. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

What You'll Do

  • Receive, record, and organize inbound deliveries of construction materials, tools, and supplies using ERP and related systems.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems for non-auto consumables and Smartsheet for auto consumables.

  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to resolve purchase order discrepancies and ensure accurate material receipt.

  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and monthly full inventory counts to maintain system accuracy.

  • Coordinate with site and mateline superintendents to distribute materials for each phase of construction.

  • Ensure proper storage, staging, and security of materials to support timely distribution.

  • Document all inventory movement to support audit and quality control requirements.

  • Work with procurement and plant teams to replace damaged or missing materials and restock site inventory.

  • Monitor material usage trends to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.

  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes, reduce waste, and enhance jobsite productivity.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Who You Are

  • High school diploma preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, materials handling, warehousing, or a related role, preferably in construction or manufacturing.

  • Eligible to work in the United States.

  • Proficient computer skills with general knowledge of ERP systems.

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Collaborative, team-focused mindset with leadership potential.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred.

  • Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.

Physical Abilities

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work outdoors for extended periods.

  • Ability to work in active construction environments and varying weather conditions.

Compensation & Benefits
Below is the expected base hourly range for this position. This is a good-faith estimate, and offers will be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and interview performance.

  • Base Hourly Range: ($23.00–$37.00 USD)
