Midtown Park Apartments is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to ensure our property is well maintained to ensure good working order, pleasant curb appeal, while providing excellent customer service to the residents. If you're hands-on, dependable, and enjoy solving problems, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests quickly & professionally by providing excellent customer service.

• Perform maintenance tasks including:
  • Light bulb & filter changes
  • Lock & window covering repairs/installation
  • HVAC, plumbing, electrical & boiler repairs
  • Painting, caulking, cabinetry, vinyl repair & installation

• Appliances
  • Preventive maintenance projects

• Assist with move-in/move-out repairs and inspections
• Maintain common areas and grounds free of debris
• Follow safety procedures and observe, record, and report any unsafe conditions.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies on rotation
• Track tools and supplies
• Support special projects and team initiatives
• Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act and all other laws pertaining to the apartment industry.

Qualifications

• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC & carpentry
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects and climb stairs
• Work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
• Basic tool set preferred (company tools may be provided)
• 2 years of Multifamily maintenance experience or related trade referred
• Reliable transportation
• Able to work both independently and as a member of a team
• A positive attitude and desire to learn and develop skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, Windows (Word, Excel) internet, and e-mail.
• Reading, comprehending, writing, performing calculations, communicating verbally

Position Details

• Full-Time | On-Call Rotation
• Hourly Pay range: $ $30.00 (based on experience)
