Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
Boychuk Development LLC is seeking a reliable, experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to support a growing portfolio of multi-family residential properties in the Rochester and surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can work independently, take ownership of repairs, and deliver quality work without constant supervision.

Duties

• Complete apartment unit turns (painting, drywall repairs, flooring, fixtures)
• Perform maintenance and repairs including:
• Plumbing (leaks, toilets, faucets)
• Electrical (outlets, switches, lighting – no high voltage)
• HVAC troubleshooting (thermostats, furnaces, minor repairs)
• Respond to maintenance work orders promptly
• Conduct preventative maintenance on buildings and common areas
• Assist with emergency/on-call maintenance (rotating schedule)
• Communicate clearly with management regarding issues and repairs
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional
• Coordinate with outside contractors when required

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and basic HVAC
• Ability to troubleshoot problems independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Own basic hand tools (larger tools provided)
• Comfortable using a smartphone for work orders and photos
• Professional, dependable, and tenant-friendly attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50, $100,000.00 per year
