We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Expeditor Materials Specialist to join our team at K&A Engineering in Binghamton, NY. Role Expectations:

• Supports Project Manager, Construction Manager and Commission Manager sourcing materials, issuing purchase orders, tracking, expediting, managing materials and equipment manufacturing process and delivery to storage areas and project site.
• Verification of Bill of Materials
• Supplier Identification
• Commodity Lead Time Analysis
• Order Acknowledgements
• Expediting delivery
• Materials Management
• Communication to Project Managers regarding material schedules.
• Quality control
• Vendor Damage Claim Management

What we're looking for:

• Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred
• Five (5) years of experience in Materials Management
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel and Word
• SAP Experience Preferred
• Experience in Utility Industry Preferred
• Must be a New York Resident- Hybrid Schedule (Tuesday-Thursday)

Pay Range $68,000—$76,000/annually
