Quality Technician

A Rochester, NH manufacturer is seeking a technically inclined Quality Technician for their team. You'll help ensure high quality of their custom molded rubber products throughout the entire course of the manufacturing process, from receipt of goods to shipment of finished product.

Responsibilities of the Quality Technician

• Inspect and test raw materials and finished products
• Ensure manufactured products meet customer specifications
• Provide lab assistance to process engineers
• Encourage safe practices on the shop floor
• Support qualification of equipment, new product/process development, and existing process maintenance and monitoring
• Help implement QMS
• Communicate with suppliers
• Process audits
• Keep accurate records
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Quality Technician

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3+ years of experience in a quality-focused technical role
• CMM, metrology, and GD&T experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications and use drop gauges, OGP, calipers, and durometers
• ISO 9001 experience preferred
• Must be willing to work shift work, overtime, and weekends as required
• Computer skills including MS Office Suite
• Team player with strong communication skills
