Sanitation Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Sanitation Technician to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our production and manufacturing environments. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of sanitation across all work areas, including food processing, industrial, and warehouse spaces. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, work surfaces, floors, and facility fixtures using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
• Daily cleaning of all baking trays and other utensils used during food processing.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks in manufacturing and food processing areas to meet strict hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, break rooms, and storage spaces through janitorial and custodial duties.
• Use heavy lifting skills to move supplies, equipment, or waste containers safely and efficiently.
• Follow established sanitation protocols and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Document cleaning schedules, inspections, and maintenance activities accurately for record-keeping purposes.
• Assist in waste removal processes and ensure proper disposal of recyclable materials and hazardous waste when applicable.

Experience

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience in industrial or food production settings preferred.
• Experience with commercial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, or steam cleaners is advantageous.
• Familiarity with sanitation standards within manufacturing or food processing environments is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine cleaning tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards in fast-paced settings. Pay: $ $16.50 per hour
