Job Title: Territory Manager
The Territory Manager is accountable for developing and executing a strategic plan to generate business with architects, builders, and contractors. This business will be driven through our distribution partners across multiple channels. Success requires an individual with established industry relationships and the ability to leverage these partnerships to deliver mutual growth. This role will operate remotely, from a home office, responsible for a territory spanning one, to several states. There will be frequent travel (>50%) using either car or air travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize Regional Operations: Develop and execute an efficient plan to manage sales and operations within the region, minimizing waste and maximizing performance.
- Target & Convert Opportunities: Use extensive pre-call planning and targeted outreach to reduce conversion cycles and close deals faster.
- Product Demonstrations & Training: Lead product demos and provide training to customers to ensure they fully understand the benefits and application of our products.
- Program Management: Create and manage business programs designed to strengthen relationships and drive sales.
- Market Intelligence: Gather insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
- Relationship Building: Establish, maintain, and grow strong partnerships with architects, builders, contractors, and distribution partners.
- Collaboration: Work closely with counterparts in other regions to manage and convert multi-region business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to develop and execute a plan with complete ownership of the business.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster and maintain key partnerships.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-starter with a personal brand that allows for quick adoption into new markets.
- Strategic thinker with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business applications.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
