We are hiring a skilled Reach Truck Operator for our bustling warehouse in Miami, Florida. This role is essential for optimizing storage space and ensuring efficient movement of goods within our facility. You will be responsible for operating a reach truck to put away and retrieve products from high-density racking systems. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-conscious, and possesses excellent control and precision. You will perform daily equipment inspections and adhere to all Safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment. Proficiency in operating a reach truck is mandatory, along with a strong understanding of warehouse logistics and procedures. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, and while this role is primarily equipment-based, some physical tasks and moderate Lifting may be involved. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move and store inventory.
- Retrieve products from racking systems for order fulfillment.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on the reach truck and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory placement and organization.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing.
- Ensure the work area is kept clean and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid reach truck operator certification.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting and other physical tasks as required.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
