We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing therapeutic services to individuals with diverse needs, including those with disabilities and autism. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.
At least 1 year of experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. We will provide training in both feeding and pediatrics. We have therapists with over 30 years of experience on our team and offer a wonderful learning environment with continuing education reimbursement, study groups, interdisciplinary team meetings and optional after hour service projects.

*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
* Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance clients' functional abilities in daily living activities.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for clients.
* Educate clients and their families about treatment plans, progress, and strategies for continued improvement.
* Document client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
* Engage in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions for clients returning home or moving to other care settings.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in occupational therapy and relevant medical terminology.
*Skills*
* Proficiency in providing therapy in clinic settings.
* Experience working with individuals with autism and other disabilities.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
* Familiarity with early intervention strategies for children with developmental delays.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently while ensuring high-quality care.

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
