Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects including roads, earthworks, utilities, sewer/watermain, and municipal infrastructure.

Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement plans to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

Oversee contract administration, including change management, RFIs, submittals, and progress documentation.

Coordinate with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project alignment.

Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to scope, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Monitor project progress, risks, and opportunities, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Lead project meetings, prepare status reports, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.

Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements, municipal standards, and environmental guidelines.

Support project closeout activities, including deficiency management, as-built documentation, and turnover packages.

Foster a collaborative, safety-first culture across all project phases.
Qualifications
-
7–12+ years of project management experience in civil infrastructure construction.

Proven track record delivering projects involving roads, earthworks, utilities, and municipal infrastructure.

Strong understanding of civil construction methods, sequencing, and cost controls.

Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar).

Excellent contract administration skills, including exposure to municipal and provincial tendering processes.

Ability to interpret engineered drawings, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.

Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, CET, or related field considered an asset.

Valid safety certifications (e.g., Working at Heights, WHMIS) are an advantage.
