Chief Technology Officer - CTO

We are currently working with an exciting company in Berlin that is looking for a CTO—Chief Technology Officer. This person would revolutionize how people's data is stored worldwide.

Tasks:

1. Provide hands-on technical leadership to the team
2. Define and manage the technology landscape together with the Management Board
3. Ensure consistent best practices, processes, and procedures for software development and maintenance in Blockchain applications
4. Develop the venture’s roadmap and play a decisive role in the product development process
5. Support the development of potential use cases and business models
6. Develop new ideas according to our vision and strategy and contribute significantly to the technological vision
7. Take an active role in hiring, training, and retaining tech talent
8. Represent the venture’s culture, mission, and vision within the internal and external community

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in developing deep tech startups’ technological infrastructure at least for 5-10 years
2. Strong architectural and programming skills
3. Experience in building and leading engineering teams of 15 and more
4. Thrive on learning new technologies, don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions and adapt easily to meet the needs of massive growth and rapidly evolving business environment
5. Highly detail oriented and well organized
6. Incredible drive to solve problems and restless, sleepless nights until it is solved
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Entrepreneurial spirit and a ‘get-things-done’ attitude
9. Startup experience highly desired
10. Fluency in English
