Senior Network Engineer

Votre profil

• English is required - French would be an asset
• Degree in Computer science
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer
• Familiarity with campus LAN design including dynamic routing protocol design and high availability strategies (VLAN’s, RSTP, DHCP, OSPF, FHRP, VSS, Stack Wise virtual)
• Knowledge with MAN/WAN designs
• Knowledge with BGP, MPLS and IP VPN designs are a plus
• Understanding with campus security designs (firewalling, network segmentation, micro segmentation, 802.1x)
• Experience in emerging technologies (such as DNAC, and/or SDA) is a plus
• Certification Cisco CCNP (Enterprise and/or Security) and/or Fortinet NSE7 is a must
• Cisco CCIE (Enterprise and/or Security) and/or Fortinet NSE8 is a plus
• Strong communication skills, you are comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, multicultural environment

Vos tâches

• Design, configuration, and migration of security infrastructures
• Network and security designs, architectures (Cisco and Fortinet products)
• Carry on projects such as new network- implementations, extensions, and renewals
• Determine vulnerabilities in the IT infrastructure, analyzing security threats, and provide advices, best practices to secure the environment
• Define work-instructions, working closely with the Security Operation team
• Document standard operation procedures and protocols with the IT Operations team
• Develop best practices and network standards for the organization
• Take the role of a Service Manager for network and security services
• Collaborate with local and international IT teams worldwide for an efficient synergy
• Interact with external Providers and Manufacturers for innovation tasks and developing new services
