What is Agile
Agile is a methodology and combination of practices linked to a new approach to software development.
The goal is to keep the processes lean and ensure better collaboration between teams where everyone works towards the same objective. Short cycles, iterative and incremental delivery and continuous feedback are some important elements of this mindset.
An Agile Manifesto was created in 2001 and describes the four important fundamentals of this method: individuals and interactions over processes and tools; working software over comprehensive documentation; customer collaboration over contract negotiation; and responding to change over following a plan.
