We are partnering with a leading insurance organisation to hire an experienced Business Continuity Manager to play a pivotal role in strengthening enterprise-wide resilience and crisis management capability.

This is a high-impact leadership position, central to ensuring the organisation can continue to deliver critical services during major disruptions while meeting evolving regulatory and operational resilience expectations.
You will have exposure to Group Executive leadership, presenting insights, influencing decision-making and driving the implementation of resilience strategy across the business.
This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring ownership and leadership of the full business continuity lifecycle: Lead and evolve the enterprise-wide Business Continuity and Crisis Management Framework, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and aligned to business strategy Own and enhance the Business Impact Analysis, recovery strategies and testing programme, embedding continuous improvement across the organisation Design and execute an annual testing strategy, including scenario-based and executive-level crisis simulations Partner closely with IT and Technology teams to ensure seamless alignment between business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities Oversee third-party and supplier resilience, ensuring critical providers maintain effective and tested contingency plans Embed resilience into change initiatives and new services, proactively identifying and mitigating risks before they arise Play a key leadership role in major incidents and crisis response, providing clarity and direction under pressure Deliver high-quality reporting and actionable insights to senior leadership and the Board, shaping decision-making at the highest level Skills required: 5+ years experience in Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Experience working within complex IT environments and third-party ecosystems Background in a regulated industry (insurance, healthcare, financial services, etc.) is xyswxtq highly desirable Proven track record leading a Business Continuity and/or Operational Resilience framework at an enterprise level Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, driving performance and building capability Strong experience engaging with and reporting to senior leadership and Group Executives, including presenting insights and influencing strategy Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills Ability to lead with confidence in high-pressure situations, particularly during live incidents Please contact Janet at Cpl for further details @ janet.smul Skills: Business Continuity Infrastructure Operational Resilience
