Full Stack DevOps Lead (Containerized MERN Stack)

Alpharetta, GA (willing to travel to client locations)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack DevOps Lead to oversee the development and deployment of MERN stack applications (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) in containerized environments. This leadership role drives CI/CD automation for scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of MERN stack applications, from React frontends to Node.js backends with MongoDB. Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI for automated deployments. Manage containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes for MERN-based microservices. Guide teams on DevOps best practices for building and scaling full stack applications. Optimize application performance, security, and availability across all layers. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of containerized solutions. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3 years of experience in full stack development with MERN stack and DevOps practices. Proficiency in building MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js applications with REST APIs. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments and CI/CD automation. Strong leadership skills in guiding teams on full stack and DevOps integration. Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for hosting MERN applications. Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform for DevOps automation. Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus for monitoring containerized stacks. Compensation & Benefits
