This opening is for an Entry Level AV Sales Executive with a strong work ethic, good attitude, professional demeanor, passion for technology, and who is looking for a career, not just a job. In this role the successful candidate will work alongside existing sales representatives in a B2B (Business to Business) model to provide daily support in sales activities. Successful candidates must display skills that include good oral and written communication, interpersonal abilities, and the ability to interact in a positive way with a wide variety of clients, as well as fellow employees, management, and office personnel. Creating a great customer experience and positive team cohesiveness is imperative to our success.
Hours :
This opening is a salaried position. Typical hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30pm, but our candidates must be able to be flexible on those occasions that require earlier/later hours.
Job Requirements/Duties :
Assist existing sales professionals with all aspects of sales in a B2B (Business to Business) sales role
Call leads
Create bid documents and marketing related materials
Create sales proposals and additional sales documentation for new clients
Create the Bill of Materials (BOM) and any additional documentation needed for each sale
Utilize prospecting and networking skills to generate new leads and build new customer relationships.
Coordinate with the design team and project manager to conceptualize system designs and to determine the requirements of each system.
Coordinate with the team during project completion.
Serve as a Sales Territory Manager
Maintain CRM
Possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Prepare for and attend on- or off-site customer demonstrations, trade shows and promotional events
Attend trainings, seminars, trade shows, etc. to maintain a working knowledge of audio-visual systems and stay current of AV trends and new products.
Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings, if needed.
Minimum Qualifications :
Valid NJ Driver’s License
Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background check process (includes drug screen that meets federal requirements)
Strong desire to learn in the fields of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service
Ability to adapt to new situations and be solution-oriented
