Head of IT (m/f/d)

We are looking for an exceptionally motivated Head of IT (f/m/d) to join our rocketry team. Lead and drive a team of IT Professionals/Supporter to run all IT projects related to our rocketry launch, maintain our server and all devices. You will work in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for excellence by creating high-performance engineering solutions while keeping prototyping and production costs at an absolute minimum. To deliver the lowest possible cost product to change space transportation as we know it today. If this sound expiring to you, then apply with us.

Your Tasks

• Be a responsible leader of the IT team
• Drive the IT strategy and develop new milestones together with the management
• In charge of delivering IT projects on-time, on-quality and on-budget
• Responsible for the companywide IT support regarding Windows, MS Office, active directory, network, VPN aswell as
• Windows and/or Linux server systems
• Asset management including maintaining and updating the IT inventory
• Manage multiple projects, tasks, priorities and internal expectations

Your Qualifications

• Apprenticeship as IT administration or degree in Informatics, Computer Science or related discipline
• 5+ years work experience as IT Professional or in IT support
• Ideally proven management experience
• Good understanding of Windows 10, Windows server 2019 and/or Linux server operating systems
• Work experience with Linux is a plus
• Strong knowledge of layer 2 & 3 networks
• Experience with different phone systems and VoIP communication
• Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
• Self-independent, a structured way of working and committed to working in a fast-paced environment
• Strive for excellence and have a strong motivation to continuously add value to a growing company
