Abbott GmbH in Wiesbaden is looking for an Integration Architect Digital & E-commerce (m/f/d).

Abbott Information Technology (IT) is responsible for delivering Information technology solutions and services to over 130+ countries globally. This role will form part of the Digital Technology Services group, defining solution architecture and technology roadmaps delivery aligned to the Diabetes Care in the Digital and eCommerce technologies.

As an Integration Architect, you’ll have the chance to play a critical role in the delivery of best in class consumer experiences providing thought leadership on digital business capabilities, operating models, and solution design. Architectural responsibilities include social, mobile, web, and marketing automation solution.

What You’ll Work on - CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish and implement contemporary digital and e-commerce architectures capable of meeting a continuously changing industry and market environment to support Abbott’s strategic goals.
  • Deliver integration architectures and development patterns for web and mobile across digital and e-Commerce.
  • Business and technical stakeholder management supporting the delivery lead in managing timeline, risks, issues, and improvement activities.
  • Aligning solution design with the enterprise architecture function, attending the architecture review board as an integration subject matter expert.
  • Breaking down a target state architecture and delivering activation of this in an incremental way.
  • Translating business requirements into system level design and detailed technical architecture for solution delivery on Digital, integration, and e-Commerce solutions.
  • Lead, coach, and guide the technical delivery team for a highly complex, business critical integration solution.
  • Technical leadership skills in driving architecture, helping with technical trade-offs, and driving best practices.
  • Driving technical change towards event driven architectures and reusable integration patterns.
  • Accountable for all overall solution design including facilitating the ideation, solutioning, and quality review of all solutions for the diabetes care division.
  • Leadership of the integration design for delivered systems for the delivery team and championing the adoption of reusable business processes/capabilities.
  • Help identify opportunities for and drive Continuous Improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science or similar engineering discipline/ Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in delivering large scale IT solutions in an enterprise digital/commerce landscape.
  • Leading the implementation of MuleSoft or comparable integration solutions in a commerce setting.
  • Experience using Kafka, microservices, or comparable technologies in a commerce/integration setting.
  • A strong background in technical design/architecture for enterprise grade integration solutions, payment providers, and commerce process flows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience in communicating across various levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presenting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
