Offer Description

As part of the SAFE AI Chair, the candidate will be responsible for conducting research into how to take account of uncertainties in the field of machine learning. Of particular interest will be the integration of uncertain data into learning, as well as the quantification of prediction uncertainty.

* Methodological research into the problem of integrating uncertainty into learning

* Support for the Chair's scientific activities (organisation of days/workshops, etc.)

* Depending on opportunities, application of the learning approaches developed to real-life case studies.

The person recruited will work in the context of the SAFE AI Chair, within the Heudiasyc laboratory, in coordination with the Chair holder (S. Destercke). He or she will be in contact with the members of the Chair and its activities, and will benefit from the Chair's resources to pursue his or her research activities.
