Position: IT Security Architect (Audit Support)

We at Sennovate are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Security Architect with a focus on Audit Support to join our team on a part-time basis in India. As an IT Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to protect our organization’s information systems and data. Your primary focus will be to provide expertise and support in conducting security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Conduct security audits:

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute security audits.

· Evaluate existing security controls and systems to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.

· Develop and implement audit plans and procedures to assess the effectiveness of security measures.

· Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and remediation plans.

Security architecture design:

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive security architecture.

· Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines in line with industry best practices.

· Evaluate and recommend appropriate security technologies and solutions to enhance the overall security posture.

Risk assessment and management:

· Perform regular risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential security threats.

· Develop risk mitigation strategies and work with stakeholders to implement necessary controls.

· Monitor and analyze security incidents and recommend appropriate actions to minimize future risks.

Compliance and regulatory support:

· Stay updated with industry regulations and compliance requirements.

· Provide guidance and support during internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

· Assist in developing and maintaining security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements-

Professional experience:

· Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as an IT Security Architect.

· Strong expertise in conducting security audits and risk assessments.

· Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS).

Technical skills:

· In-depth knowledge of network and system security principles and technologies.

· Proficiency in security architecture design and implementation.

· Experience with security assessment tools and technologies.

Analytical and problem-solving skills:

· Ability to analyze complex security issues and provide effective solutions.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and address potential risks.

Communication and collaboration:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

· Experience in presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.

Please note that this is a part-time position, and the specific working hours and schedule will be determined based on mutual agreement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely or on-site as per organizational policies.
