Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer – Quantum Computing, Python, React, Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud, Azure, AWS, Munich

A leading company in the digital atom-based quantum computing sector, the business is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on the development of making the quantum computer available to customers. Working closely with both hardware and algorithm teams, you would design and develop a system making it possible to coordinate requests between quantum hardware and simulators.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and code new features and tests for projects
2. Take ownership of projects as well as taking over product ownership
3. Design and implement APIs for a seamless integration of multiple subsystems
4. Work closely with external customers on projects
5. Automate testing and deployment in CI/CD pipelines
6. Constantly learning about new technologies and quantum computers

Skills:

• Strong software engineering experience in Python
• Skills in cloud deployment technologies including Docker, Helm, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• Frontend knowledge, ideally in React
• Experience and skills in Cloud Computing including Azure and/or AWS
• Quantum Computing experience/knowledge or an interest in this area would be a big advantage

The business offers a hybrid model with an office based in Munich; you would be expected to work from the office at least 2-3 days a week.
