For the extension of our West Europe team, we are looking for a SAP Sales Director.

As a Sales Director, you’ll be working on securing new business by selling IT services on behalf of Techwave. In this role, we are looking for a new colleague with experience in a commercial and results-driven environment. With your leadership, you’ll be responsible for setting up and leading the DACH sales operation for Techwave in the near future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The role is primarily for generating/signing new business. You’ll be actively prospecting new business opportunities and creating plans to capitalize on them for Techwave within the IT services sector.
  • Identifying potential new clients and developing strategies to approach these companies.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in SAP, S4 HANA technologies.
  • Acquiring and managing strategic account relationships or a market portfolio, and developing a clear understanding of the client's needs and desires as they relate to Maintenance, Development, Cloud, and Modernization services for custom and legacy solutions.
  • Utilizing in-depth knowledge of SAP Sales and S4 HANA to position solutions effectively and address customer needs.
  • You have a winner's mentality; you are confident and have strong persuasiveness that can be used with (potential) customers and colleagues.
  • Influencing, networking, and engaging at the executive level including CIO/CTO, CMO, CKO, CFO, and Executive Director.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to properly position products, solutions, and services within the identified customer base.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in sales, with a significant portion in SAP Sales and S4 HANA environments.
  • A strong personality with which you can convert opportunities and possibilities into concrete business.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Sales, S4 HANA, and related IT technologies.
  • A curious analytic mind that really understands the question from a client, can expand business, and look for opportunities.
  • Flexible attitude and the ability to manage stakeholders within the organization.
  • Can combine various standardized service modules into a meaningful overall solution.
  • Ability to qualify deals based on strategic company objectives, client business requirements, and Techwave's service offerings.
  • Strong knowledge of the IT Outsourcing space and competitive landscape.
  • Strong executive presence, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen to structure large-scale complex deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Working in metrics organization and with global teams will be a plus.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to relate well to a diverse constituency.
  • Language: Proficiency in German is mandatory.
